We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Waterloo Public Library Endowment Fund with the Waterloo Community Foundation! An anonymous donor has generously contributed the initial funds to create this endowment.
The Waterloo Public Library has been supporting and addressing the needs and interests of our community for over 125 years. This fund will provide long-term, sustainable support to provide free access to information, education and recreation in a welcoming environment for years to come!
“We are very grateful for the establishment of this endowment fund at the Waterloo Community Foundation,” says Library Director, David Eckert. “This fund will enable us to expand the scope of our collections and provide innovative services to meet the evolving needs of our patrons. We appreciate our donor’s commitment to supporting literacy, education, and lifelong learning”.
Community members who wish to contribute to contribute to the Waterloo Public Library Endowment Fund can do so online or by checks mailed to the Waterloo Community Foundation, PO Box 1253, Waterloo, IA 50704.
