Black Hawk County Bar Association Scholarship Fund Investing In Future Legal Professionals

The Waterloo Community Foundation is proud to partner with the Black Hawk County Bar Association (BHCBA) to announce the establishment of the Black Hawk County Bar Association Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is designed to invest in the future of legal professionals as they pursue their education.

Each year, the scholarship will provide two $1,500 awards to high school seniors in Black Hawk County who are pursuing a career in the legal field, including lawyers, legal assistants, paralegals, etc.

The Black Hawk County Bar Association is dedicated to supporting local legal professionals by providing resources for attorneys and fostering professional development. By creating this scholarship fund, BHCBA is ensuring that promising students have the resources and encouragement to pursue careers that will uphold and strengthen our legal system.

“The Black Hawk County Bar Association is thrilled to support the next generation of legal professionals,” says Adam Babinat, BHBCA President. “By creating this scholarship, we are not only investing in the future of our local legal community, but also ensuring that talented individuals have the opportunity to pursue careers that will contribute to the strength and fairness of our justice system.”

Applications for this scholarship, along with a variety of other opportunities, are now open at wloocommunityfoundation.org/scholarships.
