The Willie Mae Wright Entrepreneurial Grant Fund will provide an annual $2,000 distribution to One Cedar Valley designated toward the SHIPHT Entrepreneurial Grant Program
This fund is established to support the purchases of specialized fire service equipment, additional training for personnel, and other expenses that would traditionally be outside the normal city operational budget.
This Fund supports the Veteran’s Way project including the Sullivan Brother’s Memorial Plaza, Cedar River Bridge Lighting, Unity Plaza, Commemorative Streetscaping, and Living Lamps Underpass. The project will also provide support to improvements to the Waterloo Convention Center.
Provides support for the Waterloo Center for the Arts to procure works of art for display, improve existing exhibits, and enhance the inventory of the Waterloo Center for the Arts.
This fund supports the innovative community-based outreach programs of the Waterloo Police Foundation. The Foundation helps build positive relationships between the police and the community with a special focus on youth outreach programs.
Benefits the City of Waterloo Fire and Rescue to fund the purchase of fire equipment that enhances the safety of Waterloo residents, as determined by the Waterloo Fire Chief, and the American Red Cross to fund disaster relief in Waterloo, Iowa.
This fund was established to implement “Procedural Justice/Implicit Bias/Reconciliation Training” at the Waterloo Police Department.
Established in honor of Stanford and Margaret Duffy, long-serving members St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Waterloo. Annual distributions from this fund will benefit the operations and maintenance of the facilities, including the Pastor’s residence.
This long-term fund supports the repair and maintenance of Mark’s Park, located along the Cedar Riverfront in an area known as the RiverLoop Amphitheater, generally between W. Park Avenue and W. 1st Street in the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
