Thank you for joining us for an Open House and Ribbon Cutting at our new office space in the Union Block building! We are excited to be in a common suite with Black Hawk County Gaming Association, McElroy Trust, and Otto Schoitz Foundation in the heart of downtown Waterloo at 114 East 4th Street.
For the last several years, our four Foundations have existed across the river in separate suites down the hall from one another. Independently, we have been diligently serving Waterloo and our greater community and making a wonderful impact.
A little over a year ago, we started dreaming about what it might be like for our organizations to share space together. We began to believe that greater communication and creative collaboration could allow us to do even more to resource the work of our local community. Each of our organizations is good independently, but we’re better together.
We are so grateful for the partnership and leadership we have in all four Foundation Boards and Trustees to make this co-location possible. Additionally, we commend JSA Development for the vision and generosity they have given our city and the impact it has made on East 4th Street. We are happy to be part of this progress!
If you missed the Open House, feel free to stop by to say hello!
