This year’s UNI Women’s Basketball Coaches vs. Cancer game will benefit the Accessing Cancer Treatment (ACT) Fund at the Waterloo Community Foundation!
The Panthers will host the Evansville Purple Aces on Sunday, January 25 at 2 PM at the McLeod Center. UNI Head Coach Tanya Warren will donate $25 to the ACT Fund for every 3 pointer UNI makes during the game.
The ACT Fund provides grants to local medical providers to help patients overcome barriers to early cancer screenings and treatment, including assistance with medical bills, copays, and transportation to appointments. The fund was created by longtime Hudson educator, Diane Anderson, who turned her own breast cancer journey into advocacy for others.
